Who must file the Adjustment of Status?

All immigrants that entered the US on a K1 Fiancee, K2 Child, K3 Spousal or K4 Child visa are required to file for an Adjustment of Status in order to obtain resident status, work legally, get a Social Security Card, travel out of the country and avoid being deported. The USCIS filing fee is not included in the Cherry Blossoms fee.
