I am divorced and have three grown kids on there own, I was looking after Mom and sister ( that had brain damage during a pregnancy) in mom's home, since Dad died in 2002. My sister dies in May, and mom dies Oct of 2012. It has proven to be a big loss in my life especially with the loss of my sister and mother earlier this year. A sense of loneliness is present when I come home to an empty house now, and I reflect on my lost ones on occasion.
I had a good job of 20 years, recovering from a knee injury in 2013, but still not at full mobility. I have retired recently, and am seriously looking for someone to share the rest of my life with.
I would like a wife that is a friend, a confident, that special person that is always there, and one that loves me. And she would receive the same from me, if not more so.
I am very sincere about seeking a wife, but we must be compatible and truly love each other. Although my health is not poor, it is also not the best, I am type 2 diabetic, means I take the pill and need to lose weight and be more active. This I am working on. My family inherited diabeties. It is not life threatening if dealt with, but something I felt you should know. At this time I am getting better and may be taken off the pill, or at least have the medication reduced.
I have lost a lung to cancer, and my prayer is that it does not come back. My surgeon believes I have I may be given a clean bill of health one day, for now I am being monitored every six months.
I am not the handsome man of youth, and look every year of my age. I do get a lot of response from very beautiful, but very young ladies, I thank you very much but I am only interested in women above about 40 years of age, I will no longer respond to younger women no matter how pretty you are, in saying that, I mean no harm or to put you down in any way, but I feel I am too old for a younger woman.
