I've spent about 2.5 years in the Philippines.
Basically I'm a wanna be Buddhist. Which is close to being an atheist. In other words I don't fear god. I do have other fears I suppose like everyone else; fear of dying unaccomplished, unloved, incomplete. Fear that happiness will only be a fleeting moment and not last long enough for me to bask in it's healing power. I'm not interested in a woman with children. I don't have children and at my age it seems silly to start a family. I'd like to live a quiet life. Build my own house and enjoy working in the garden. I'm interested in meeting a woman that is educated and creative. I scuba and work out, and have creative ideas. I seek intimacy and love. I want to meet someone that is intelligent and has ideas, no children, Buddhist, and not afraid of god. Remember God is a metaphor, a concept. I know most Filipinas believe in the traditional Christian god. Honestly, if you have strong belief in God then I doubt we would be compatible. I try to be flexible but it really isn't easy for me and I need to be true to myself more than exceptable to you. In other words I won't change to fit into your religion. I'd like to retire in PH and move there in 2020. I've spent 2 years there so I have a feel for the place.
