Very calm and peaceful person looking for the same. My actual age is 74, BUT most people think I am around 55 -- and I am active and in shape like a 55 year old. I worked many years in child development and served as a professor at the University of Texas and the University of Hawaii. I am also an author and have written 10 books and I continue to write short stories, novels, poetry, stage plays, and movie scripts. I work out regularly and I stay on the cutting edge of health issues including a healthy diet of whole foods instead of processed foods, and mostly vegetables, fruits, nuts,, salads, and occasionally grilled salmon and maybe a hamburger once a month. Ice cream is my addiction, but I go lightly on it. I like Italian food, Thai, Moroccan, French, and Mexican. I have mixed feelings about living in the US even though I am from there. It has many advantages and also some disadvantages. I like places where the environment supports life -- where there is more to offer than just work. I have lived in several countries -- and my favorite cities and places have been Honolulu, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Thailand. I am a giver and not a taker. I want to find someone who is also a giver. I don't want to be with someone who only has own mind the need to be taken care of -- that is a two way street, and people who love each other don't have to think about it because they want what is best for their partner.
