Chicago has been home for most of my life. My family and everything I know is here. I love the variety, from the neighborhoods to the food to the weather. That pretty much sums me up, I'm someone who appreciates the differences we all bring to the table. Over the past few years I have tried to make some life changes that highlight my appreciation and positive direction in which I try to live my life.

That's why I chose to be a special education teacher. It's a passion of mine and I'm always rooting for the underdog. When I'm not in school I love traveling and exploring new places. Sports and fitness are important to me and it would be great to find someone active. I like learning, so anything from a good museum to a new bookshow is always fun.
I'm not looking for anything unreasonable and I don't expect any fake image of perfection. We all have our great attributes and things we can do better with. I just want to find a good person who shares interests and goals with me. Honesty, empathy, positivity, and a sense of humor are important attributes. I'm at the point in life where I'm looking for a real connection. Of course I know things can't be rushed but if I'm bring honest, I am hoping to find someone serious.
