I'm a kind and caring guy. I was recently retired and then widowed. My spouse of 27 years and I were looking forward to retiring together. Unfortunately that plan fell apart last year with her unexpected passing. In 2015 we purchased a small lakefront house near Cooperstown, NY and planned to spend summers on the lake and winters on the slopes. As I began retirement I found myself looking for ways to make my wife's last few years in the work force as pleasant as possible. One of her favorites was coming home to a meal that I would prepare for her. Another thing she enjoyed doing was going to our garden to pick fresh vegetables that I would plant just for her. Gardening is something that I picked up from my father and grandfather. This summer I have spent my time planting new fruit trees and adding to my collection of blueberry bushes at both homes in NY and PA. I'm also a bit of a do-it-yourselfer. Whether it's doing plumbing work, electrical troubleshooting or car issues I love the challenges that life throws your way. For fun I enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, skiing going to a baseball game or out to dinner with friends. Well, that's pretty much ME.
